Penny Pelican is a creatively named release from BGaming studios that plunges players into a vibrant, cartoon-inspired marine world. Don't let the whimsical presentation fool you — beneath that adorable exterior lies a feature set with serious firepower, capable of delivering payouts up to 5,000x the stake. The Free Spins round is where the real magic happens, so keep your spins focused there.
The backdrop of Penny Pelican is a sun-soaked beach nestled alongside a quaint fishermen's village — the home turf of the game's lovable mascot, Penny the Pelican. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, complemented by a cheerful, upbeat soundtrack that keeps the mood light across every spin. The cartoonish visuals are polished and genuinely delightful, making this slot an impressive package from a design standpoint.
At the heart of the action sits a 5x3 reel grid offering 20 paylines to play across. The game carries high — bordering on very high — volatility, as confirmed by the developer itself, meaning big swings are to be expected. The maximum win potential is capped at 5,000x the stake, which is a solid ceiling for a slot of this nature.
The symbol lineup features 11 regular symbols spread across three distinct tiers:
To trigger a payout, you'll need to land at least 3 matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel. Landing 5-of-a-kind combinations rewards between 1.25x and 37.5x the stake, depending on the symbol involved.
BGaming has delivered a genuinely well-rounded slot with Penny Pelican. It excels both visually and mechanically, combining eye-catching cartoon graphics, a solid mathematical foundation, and engaging bonus features into one cohesive experience. While it may not sit at the very top tier of modern slots, it absolutely earns its place as a fresh, fun, and rewarding choice for players seeking something new and charming to spin.
