Super Ace stands as one of the most celebrated online slots to emerge from Jili Games, dominating the charts across several key markets. Released in November 2021, this slot quickly became a blueprint that inspired numerous similarly themed casino games from competing studios. In this in-depth review, we take it all the way back to the beginning.
Before diving into the mechanics, it's worth shining a light on the developer. Jili Games is a highly respected iGaming supplier with a strong foothold in the Asian market, having been founded in 2018. The studio is well known for its mobile-first development philosophy, and Super Ace is a prime example — the slot is primarily optimised for mobile play. This does mean desktop players may find the experience slightly less comfortable, which is arguably the game's most notable drawback. That said, after an extensive test session, it's clear that flaws are few and far between.
Super Ace is built on a 5x4 grid featuring an impressive 1,024 ways to win through a Multiway payout system inspired by the cascading mechanic popularised by titles like Gonzo's Quest. Winning symbols are removed from the reels, triggering cascading sequences as new symbols drop in from above — opening the door to consecutive payouts from a single spin. While this mechanic is commonplace today, it was genuinely exciting when Super Ace launched back in 2021.
The game's symbol set draws from classic card game imagery — think poker, sixty-six, and similar titles — giving the reels a refined yet familiar feel:
Super Ace carries low to medium volatility, making it an ideal choice for casual players and newcomers to online slots. High rollers chasing massive swings may look elsewhere, but the 1,500x maximum win is notably strong for a slot in this variance category — surpassing what many comparable titles offer.
Super Ace is an entertaining online slot that delivers genuine enjoyment over extended play sessions. Its blend of engaging features gives players the tools to craft their own strategies and chase meaningful payouts along the way.
The standout strengths of this slot are undoubtedly its player-friendly volatility profile paired with advanced mechanics that were ahead of their time at launch. The concept of transforming standard symbols into wilds is a clever touch, though this particular feature feels like it still has room to grow. Similarly, the elimination multipliers are a welcome mechanic, but they borrow heavily from other slot formats rather than breaking new ground. The Free Spins bonus could also benefit from more unique mechanics beyond the doubled multiplier structure.
Ultimately, Super Ace has an undeniable charm and deserves its place as a slot worth trying — but approach it with a measured mindset and realistic expectations.
